Larissa Meek chats to Krupt
Saturday 20th October, 2007
Do you guys remember from a few years ago, the show called Average Joe? Yep I bet you do, what about specifically Average Joe 2 Hawaii - ok maybe you don’t remember much about it but if I say, do you remember the hot dark haired lady who was the main girl you may remember? Yep now you remember - Larissa Meek, ring a bell?
Word got around to our crib here at Krupt that Larissa Meek was a lady of mystery - A former beauty queen, a model and an actress, we found out that Larissa is also an accomplished artist and web designer and works at top design agency based in Florida, AgencyNet. Do you know any other woman with such credentials and has a seriously diverse background in skills?
I don’t so I thought I’d try and figure out the brain of this new species of female and accordingly grabbed Larissa for some questions to try and open up the workings of how such a lady works!

Ok Larissa, you are quite unique so excuse my intro but I HAVE to try and figure you out. my questions are going to be very weird and diverse…here goes
Umar (Krupt): If your house was on fire, name your top 3 things you would have to grab?
Larissa: Wow, that would suck. I would have to rescue my dog “wicket”, my favorite painting “Hollywood” and my laptop.
U: What turns you on in a guy?
L: Confidence without being cocky.
U: If a man is wearing … I would lick him (Name of fragrance)
L: Well, I’ve never randomly licked a stranger before but if he was wearing chocolate I might consider it. I don’t know men’s fragrances very well.
U: What is the most memorable date a guy has taken you on?
L: My guy recently surprised me for my birthday with a romantic trip to the Florida Keys where we stayed at a cute beach cottage.
U: My pet peeve is…
L: Weird guys who fake cry over Britney Spears.
U: My top 5 current music artists are…
L: Frou Frou, Michael Buble’, Plain White T’s, Sean Kingston and Linkin Park
U: What is your fave. sport and which sports team do you support?
L: I don’t watch sports.
U: Damn, bad question there…wonder why? (Click here to find out) Ok so your top 5 movies of all time…
L: The Princess Bride, The Neverending Story, The Wizard of Oz, Shrek and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
U: Pick one
- Eminem or Avril Lavigne – L: neither
- Designer labels or plain and simple – L: plain and simple
- Victorias Secret or Agent Provacateur – L: Victoria’s Secret
- McDonald’s or Taco Bell - L: McDonalds
- David Beckham or Victoria Beckham – L: David Beckham
- Short Skirt or Hot Pants – L: Short Skirt
- Six Pack or Big Arms – L: Big Arms
- Indian Curry or American Steak – L: Steak, filet mignon to be exact.
- To ignore or to argue – L: depends on my mood
U: From your answers so far, I have a weird feeling your going to say Tinkerbell, but if you could choose one cartoon character that represents you, who would it be?
L: Hmmm, when I think of the name “Tinkerbell” I think of Paris Hilton. Thus, I don’t see myself as a Tinkerbell. I think I would be a Rainbow Bright. I know that dates me a bit but retro is SOOOO in right now! I wouldn’t be surprised to see a live action Rainbow Bright movie in the works some day. In the words of Paris, “That would be HOT”.
U: If you could buy a house anywhere in the world, in order with 1 being first - where would they be?
L: 1. Amberg, Germany because I have family there and I would love to see them more often.
2. Prague, Czech Republic because I love it there. There is so much art and design. It is the most beautiful city I have ever been to.
3. Hawaii … why not?
U: Your top 3 favourites languages/accents?
L: 1. German 2. Russian 3. Scottish
U: Would you ever consider getting plastic surgery as age creeps on you?
L: I suppose I might consider some non-invasive stuff because face lifts creep me out. I don’t think I would ever get a face-lift. I’ve seen too many shows on TV and it makes me want to throw up a little. Wrinkles can be sexy.
Ok well that’s it - interesting answers Larissa…like the way you snubbed the sports one. On a more serious note, people like Larissa are inspirations to not only girls but also guys in showing that no matter what sterotypes say or what people say, if you have an interest and skills, you should do what you want to do and achieve all you can. Having tried out a few things, it is quite clear Larissa is a lady of many talents and has achieved pretty high levels in each of those categories of interest and skills. I hope you guys enjoyed the read and maybe Larissa can inspire you to achieve everything you want to in life!
